1.Who controls your data
The data controller is the Non-governmental association of households, farmers and other persons of Lever Tara village “NAŠA LEVER TARA”, Prenćanska 23, 84210 Pljevlja, Montenegro. For any question about your data, write to info@levertara.com.
2.What data we collect
Only what you send us through the forms on this site:
- Contact form: name, e-mail, organisation (optional), topic and message.
- Membership application: first and last name, e-mail, phone (optional), type of membership or participation, connection to Lever Tara (optional) and message (optional).
Each submission also records that you gave your consent, the page language, the time it was sent and a random reference number.
If you become a regular member, our Statute (Article 13) requires the member register to also hold your address, personal ID number (or name and tax number for organisations), joining date and leaving date. We collect these later, in person or on a signed form — never through the website.
3.Why we use it
- To reply to your message or enquiry.
- To process your membership request, contact you about it, and keep the register of members, supporters and volunteers as required by our Statute.
- To inform you about the association, Assembly sessions and activities — only if you are a member or asked us to.
- To protect the forms from spam and automated abuse (see section 5).
The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and — for members — fulfilling membership obligations under the Statute.
4.Where and how long we keep it
Form submissions are sent as an e-mail to the association’s official mailbox (info@levertara.com) through Microsoft 365. Our server passes a form’s contents to Microsoft only after it has checked the entered data and the protection against automated abuse. Our application on the server does not write form contents to a database or to its technical logs, and the site sends no automatic reply to your e-mail address.
The member register is kept by the Secretary. Access to form messages and the register is permitted only to the Secretary, the President and, where needed, members of the governing bodies.
- Contact messages: up to 2 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Applications not accepted: deleted within 6 months.
- Member data: for as long as you are a member, and afterwards only as long as the law and Statute require.
5.Who we share it with
We never sell your data or share it for marketing. Form contents are processed only by the providers that run our website and e-mail (hosting and Microsoft 365), and only on our instructions. Under our Statute, the member register is open to inspection by members and by the competent authorities on request.
Form protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To protect the forms from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It does not load when you open the Contact or Membership page, only when you send a form that has been filled in correctly. The check usually runs unnoticed; occasionally it may ask you for a short extra confirmation.
When Turnstile loads, your browser connects directly to Cloudflare’s servers. Cloudflare can then process technical information needed for the check, such as your IP address and details about your browser. Our site gives Turnstile only what the check itself needs (the site identifier, which form is being sent, and the display language and settings), not the contents of the form fields.
After you send the form, our server confirms the result with Cloudflare. Of the information about you, it sends only the one-time verification code — not your IP address and not the form contents. Only when the check succeeds is your message passed on to Microsoft 365. Our form code stores nothing in your browser.
Cloudflare also processes this technical information under its own terms, among other things to improve its bot protection. How Cloudflare handles it, including cookies, is described in Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.
Interactive map
The interactive map on the Contact page uses OpenStreetMap. The map does not load automatically. Only after you click “Load map” does your browser connect to OpenStreetMap servers and request the required map tiles. Our site does not use geolocation or remember your choice to load the map.
6.Your rights
At any time you can:
- ask to see the data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data, except what we must keep by law;
- withdraw your consent — without affecting processing done before;
- lodge a complaint with Montenegro’s Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information.
Send your request to info@levertara.com. We reply within 30 days.
7.Cookies
This site uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent.
When you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded (see section 5). Cloudflare may then use technical means in your browser that it needs for the check, under its own privacy terms. Our own form code stores nothing in your browser.
8.Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest change is always shown at the top of this page.
